We live in community...... Community life is to be understood as "a life shared in love." (Vita Consecrata #42)
We find that our lives are both enriched and challenged by the diversity of persons whom the Lord, in his love and mystery, has brought together to live in oneness with us in fraternal community.
"fraternal communion is a God-enlightened space in which the hidden presence of the Risen Lord is experienced."
We experience the hidden presence of the Risen Lord in one another through a mutual love that is :
--nourished daily by the Word and by the Eucharist --purified by the Sacrament of Reconciliation -- sustained by prayer for unity -- inspired by the Spirit when we listen obediently to the Gospel. (Vita Consecrata #42)
We realize that unity in community is not something we achieve by ourselves. It is the result of Christ's presence and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Sharing, openness, friendship and love are the fruit of divine grace among us. (Perfectae Caritatis)
